TEEING UP A BRIGHT FUTURE IN THE AZ DESERT

On January 4, 2024, Golf It Forward board members Debbie Waitkus and Tracy Hupko along with VP of LPGA Properties Scott Wood, launched the Arizona Women’s Golf Advisory Council.

The room was filled with like minded golf and business professionals who are eager to elevate women’s golf in Arizona. The Council plans to meet regularly throughout the year to share ideas and strategize growth initiatives. Opportunities will also be available at multiple prestigious women’s events in 2024, including the LPGA Ford Championship presented by KCC in March, Arizona Sr Women’s Open in April and the Epson Tour Carlisle Arizona Women’s Golf Classic in May. The Council will also prioritize initiatives that support the largest LPGA*USGA Girls Golf site in the world as well as the I GOT THIS Foundation.
